My friend, Officer Rich O’Connor, describes being a first responder to an active shooter in Middleton, WI in 2018. He and other officers risked their lives to stop the shooter and save lives. They don’t like to be called heroes, but they are. This is part two of our three part conversation. Part three will focus on the aftermath of the shooting, PTSD, and mental health.
