“How much longer until we get there?” Every parent has responded to this question during a road trip. “In a little while” we often reply. But how long is a little while? Jesus promised that there would come a day when our tears would be wiped away and when our mourning will be turned into joy. When asked when that day will come, he would say, “in a little while.” But since with God a day is like 1,000 years and 1,000 years is like a day, how long is that.
