It is great to have another opportunity to chat with our friends at UK Next Generation Leadership Academy as we offer this focused conversation about local accountability systems. With the work being done by districts to report a holistic view of student achievement it is important that the right stakeholders are involved in this planning. You'll hear in this conversation important aspects of planning this team and different approaches that districts have developed to lead communities in the new approach to accountability. Susan and Karen have a wealth of knowledge about this work because they help districts lead this process for their communities. You’ll hear some district spotlights as well. It’s nice to hear that these local designs will be different, but have the same goal for all students. That goal is to have students ready for their next level in education with an intentional approach that allows application of competencies that are important to their community.
