It is all about helping a company identify and form long-term partnerships with other companies, which could bring complementary capability to enhance our own products. For example, Facebook may form a partnership with banks or fintechs, in order to add a payment capability to the Facebook app. The end goal is to create a better and more comprehensive product for customers/end users.

Our guest is Sneha Chow, who works at Xero and has over 5 years of experience in the world of partnerships. At the time of the recording, she was working in the role of Senior Manager in the Market Development Partnerships for ANZ - she has since been promoted to Global Business Operations Manager - Partnerships at Xero.
