Eva Evans, is a comedian based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a past winner of the Manhattan Comedy Festival, and has been featured on The Wendy Williams Show. Performing all over the country from NYC’s Caroline’s and Gotham Comedy Club to Los Angeles’ Complex Theater, Eva has been a featured act for comics such as Def Comedy Jam’s Leonard Ouzts, Toronto's Comedian Trixx, TruTV Host Damien Lemon, and Mason Pryor, son of the late comedy great Richard Pryor.

Dionne Anyáh, who was born as Dawnielle Baucham, in Los Angeles, CA, is an emerging singer-songwriter and entertainer. There is a long list of words to describe this intriguing young lady, however, the shortlist includes being musically and vocally talented, a spiritual being, beautiful, intelligent, educated, dedicated and a devoted singer-songwriter.

Randy Bowden Jr. is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Marketing. Additionally, Randy is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. as well as several civic and philanthropic organizations, namely being elected as the second African-American to role the Executive Vice President of The Student Government Association at The University of Alabama since 1975. With extensive fashion relevant experience, Randy has worked in press relations for Marie Claire Magazine, Diane von Furstenberg, and 3.1 Phillip Lim, along with high end luxury sales at Sandro Paris (Bloomingdale’s Flagship), Phillip Plein, Saks 5th Avenue, and personal shopping experience at TOPSHOP TOPMAN, opening the new 5th Avenue flagship. Clients consisting of Jesse Williams of (Grey’s Anatomy), Jesse Matcalfe of (Desperate Housewives), Nick & Joe Jonas, Patrick Neil-Harris, Evan Ross, Safaree, Colton Hayes, to name a few. During his fashion rise, Randy also has extensive modeling experience having signed with the now closed agency Boss Models New York, with a start in Atlanta, Georgia. Modeling for Complex Magazine, Vice Magazine, & Nylon Magazine along with several other online and printed magazines.

Randy is a diverse hustler. He advises hospitality institution part-time, performs press relations duties for a few major brands and also pursues modeling and music. Most recently he was signed to an agency, State Artist Management; He's ready to do modeling and music full-time.

Charisse Mills (born January 12, 1988) is a Trinidadian pop opera singer and songwriter. She is best known for her collaborations with artists Ne-Yo and French Montana, and for her vocal combinations of pop and opera, termed "pop'era". Mills was born in Trinidad and Tobago before she moved to Queens, New York with her mother, Charmaine Mills.

In an interview with Vocab Magazine, Mills said her interest in opera music began in the eleventh grade. She won accolades performing through the New York State School Music Association. In 2011, Mills performed live at the 2011 NV Awards.

In 2015, R&B artist Ne-Yo featured Mills on “Integrity” on his“Non-Fiction.” Ne-Yo described her as contributing a “beautiful operatic melody” to the song “Integrity” that resulted from a freestyle session with her while recording. Charisse Mills’ first single, “Champagne”, was written by Charisse Mills, French Montana, Warren Zavala and Brandon Howard and features hip-hop artist French Montana.

XXL Magazine reported that Mills created her own genre of music with the combination of pop music and opera, called “pop’era.” In an interview with Soul Dynamic, Mills said she infused pop and opera to form “pop’era.” Mills has performed opera and R&B at Lincoln Center, in Times Square, and performed for Jesse Jackson’s seventieth birthday at Rainbow/PUSH. Charisse Mills, along with Charmaine Mills, is the cofounder of C. Moi apparel. C. Moi sponsored the Princess Project, providing custom-made prom dresses to underprivileged youth. Mills is resident of Los Angeles, California.

It would have been no surprise if Yvette Rovira's musical talents had gone undiscovered. Raised in a family that was more focused on the sciences than the arts - both her mother and only brother are engineers - a career in music might have seemed unlikely. But as is the case with those to whom the artistic muse whispers too loudly to be ignored, Rovira was taking vocal lessons by the time she was eight years old, setting out from there on a path that would lead her from her native Florida to a degree in songwriting from Boston's Berklee School of Music, and eventually to New York City, where she's currently finishing up work on her new CD.

Working with producer Rob Mounsey (Rihanna, Mary J. Blige), and with the same tight family of musicians with whom she's collaborated for the past few years, Rovira has recorded a dozen tracks that are flavored with latin-inspired percussion, and funk and old school R&B references, all sung with a distinctive power and passion.

Rovira shares writing credit on ten of the CD's twelve tracks, a fact made more impressive when she admits that she only learned to read and write music once she'd entered Berklee as a sophomore, after a year majoring in singing at New Orlean's Loyola University. "I knew I wanted to focus more on pop music and songwriting, so Berklee was a natural choice for me. I came away with a great education, of course, but I met most of the guys who are now in my band while I was there as well."

Notes of inspiration and power course through "Everybody Stand Up," which opens with the words of no less a spiritual leader than Mahatmas Gandhi: "Be the change that you want to see in the world," Rovira sings as the song opens. "So often I hear people complain about things but offer no solutions," she explains. "I'm inspired by leaders like Gandhi and Martin Luther King to be of service, which sometimes can be as simple as stating your opinion in a positive way."

"Give Me Just a Little Bit of Time," which features M.C. Atlas, fuses pop, gospel and hip-hop into a poignant parable with universal appeal. Seemingly at first to be just another song of love and longing, its true message unveils itself with M.C. Atlas' rap: "This story is told through the eyes of a man who's lived 80 something years...holding the hand of his wife who can't stand...watching the love of his life slip away.... " Atlas had just come back to New York after the death of the grandmother who'd raised him. He wrote his verse in reaction to that, directly from his experience," says Rovira. "At some point in our lives, we all experience loss."

All this talk of Rovira's ability as a songwriter should in no way detract from her power as a singer. Her voice pulses and soars on soulful anthems like "Fearless," and rides waves of emotion as her vocals intertwine with guitarist Nicholas Cassarino's on the R&B ballad, "Hold Me."

"Ever since I can remember, music has been the driving force of my life," explains the 26 year old Rovira. "I was very young, but I remember that my dad used to put me to sleep singing and playing guitar." It was the support of her family and a strong network of musical friends, music/acting coaches and musical theater directors that helped the very young Rovira find the resolve to follow her dream of becoming a singer.

"My mom was just a powerhouse," she remembers. "After my dad was gone, she was a single mom raising my brother and me, and working. Then and now, she's my greatest inspiration."

Raja’s music style is heavily influenced by Indian instruments mixed with modern day Pop/Hip-Hop sounds. What separates him from the rest of the rappers in the industry is his strong Hindu background. Raja discovered his passion for music at the age of 7 where he began playing the tabla drums. Growing up he was surrounded by different forms of music such as Pop, Hip-hop, and R &B. His mom played a lot of dance music such as La bouche and Gloria Estevan. His sisters listened to Madonna, Tupac, Kanye West, and Jay-Z. Growing up he was heavily influenced by hip-hop and wanted to pursue a career in entertainment.

Raja grew up with two disabilities ADD and ADHD, which caused Raja to feel like an outsider. Raja struggled with school while his siblings received straight A’s. His parents made education a top priority in his household that made the pressure unbearable. Raja was expelled from High School due to cutting class and behavioral issues. He later finished his academic classes at a military school.

Raja’s music career and popularity began to grow In 2015 when he grabbed a feature in the XXL Magazine Rookie Edition and was the headline performer at the NYC Demiurge Awards - a new recognition system for NYC creative’s doing business and giving back to NYC. Raja is currently performing in the hottest spots from the Supper Club in LA to SOB’s in NYC. He has an EP named REBIRTH due in January with a few industry heavy-hitters, including Tory Lanez, Fabolous, Producers - Ron Browz and James Fauntleroy. As the CEO of C.O.D.E., an experiential talent management, marketing and strategic public relations firm, Alicia Gooding’s experience within the industry is peerless.

Alicia Gooding, who is probably the most interesting and unique cast member on the show. With over a decade of experience in marketing, public relations, and management, Alicia is the founder of The Code. Her company provides public relations and management services for celebrities, artists, and brands. However, she also specializes in assisting television talents and has been involved in reality television from behind-the-scenes.

Her experience with television is what makes Alicia the most unique member of the show. Not only has she been involved with numerous reality shows from behind-the-scenes, but she’s also received multiple invitations to join some of the most known reality series on television. So, when she got the call for Hustle in Brooklyn, Alicia thought it was another attempt to get her on a television show.

To her surprise, the call was to bring her in to help with casting. In fact, she’s responsible for bringing on one of her castmates, Baggy Large. Alicia expresses, “I honestly didn’t think that this show was really going to happen.” Especially, after she was told that production was having trouble casting interesting personalities. She would eventually receive another call asking her to self-tape, in an effort to have an example of what production was looking for. The next day, Alicia was asked to join the cast.

Alicia stands apart from her castmates with not only a larger-than-life personality but also a track record that would put most 30-year-olds to shame. She’s an established professional who owns her a company, works with high profile talent and negotiates million dollar deals. And surprisingly, she doesn’t even have a college degree.

A Brooklyn-born native with West Indian roots, she was raised in New Jersey. Alicia is a proud college dropout who found that her ambition superseded a college degree. “I dropped out of college my first month after I realized that the money I was making at 17 years old was the same amount of money I would be making after I went to school for 4 years and got this degree, she says.” She continues by explaining, ” I didn’t tell my parents until the end would have been my sophomore year, and I just worked. I always loved something about making my own money.” For years, she held down multiple jobs and developed a pattern of going after whatever she wanted.

The quality of her work would lead to multiple promotions. Unfortunately, none of the promotions came with a raise. Alicia eventually took what she had learned and set out on her own. She created the code which started as an event marketing firm and evolved into a management and public relations company.

Essentially, Alicia is the living embodiment of what Hustle in Brooklyn is all about. Like the show, she represents a generation of people who work hard and play hard, all while forging their own path; refining the rules during their journey. Though the show is based in Brooklyn, it’s actually a snapshot of what’s happening in many cities all over the world. However, none of those cities have an Alicia Gooding; which is reason enough to watch Hustle in Brooklyn.

Meli'sa Morgan is an American R&B/Soul singer–songwriter. Morgan had a string of urban contemporary hits starting the mid–1980s through the mid–1990s. Morgan most notable songs includes her cover version of Prince's "Do Me, Baby" (1985), "Do You Still Love Me" (1986) and "Still in Love With You" (1992). Born in Queens, New York, Morgan got her start in the music industry while singing with a church gospel choir called the Starlets of Corona.

Her initial chart entry was as the lead singer of the dance group, Shades of Love. They had a single entry on Billboard magazine's Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1982, the #26 "Body to Body (Keep in Touch)". This was re-popularized in 1994 by new remixes, "Body to Body (Keep in Touch)", and reached number 1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart. That same year, music entrepreneur Jacques Fred Petrus asked her to join his newly created studio group, High Fashion, that featured Morgan and two other New York vocalists, Eric McClinton and Alyson Williams. High Fashion's sole hit, "Feelin' Lucky Lately", reached #32 on the US Black Singles chart. In 1983 Morgan left, and was replaced in the group by the jazz vocalist, Marcella Allen. Morgan worked as a backing singer with Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, and Melba Moore. As a solo artist she topped the R&B chart with her cover version of Prince's "Do Me, Baby" for 3 weeks, (the title track from her debut album) which also became her only Billboard Hot 100 entry, peaking at number 46 in 1986. She also had a top 5 R&B single with "Do You Still Love Me" from her debut album. She had several solo hits on the U.S. dance chart as well, including "Still in Love With You," which hit #3 in 1992.

Morgan cites Chaka Khan as a major influence. Morgan was married to playwright, writer and director Shelly Garrett from 1993 until 1998. A verse from Morgan's 1986 single "Fool's Paradise" was re-vamped, with modified lyrics, by Mary J. Blige as the chorus to the 1996 Jay-Z single "Can't Knock the Hustle".

Arika Kane is an American recording artist, songwriter, and producer born into a musical family. In 2009 she signed with BSE Recordings and released her self-titled debut album the following year. The third single "Here With Me" reached #69 on Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first platinum-selling single. Arika Kane's second studio album, Substance, was released in 2012, which produced the hit singles "Waiting" and "Fight 4 Ur Life." Throughout her career Kane's music has been placed on several VH1 and MTV television shows, including Love & Hip Hop (NY), Basketball Wives and Single Ladies, among others. VH1 chose "Make It," a song from her debut album, as the theme song for Hollywood Exes and Atlanta Exes. She released the single "It's There" (featuring Brian McKnight) on March 18, 2014. The single will also be included on her third studio album Thru the Veil.

Arika Kane's self-titled debut album was released on February 23, 2010. The album set digital sales records and spawned three singles: "Bcuz I Luv U," "4 the Lovers" and "Here With Me." The lead single "Bcuz I Luv U" peaked at number thirty-nine on the US Billboard Hot Adult R&B Airplay chart. The sophomore single, “4 the Lovers“ charted at number seven on the Single Sales chart, number nineteen on the R&B Airplay chart and at number eighty on Billboard Hot 100. “Here With Me,“ the third single, also charted at number four on the Single Sales chart, number fourteen on the R&B Airplay and number sixty-seven on the Hot 100. The song was placed as a feature on the first season of VH1's Love & Hip Hop. Kane was the only female artist to appear alongside Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Charlie Wilson and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly at the DeSoto Civic Center in Augusta, GA, in 2009. Throughout 2010, VH1 and MTV placed six songs from Kane's debut album on “Love and Hip Hop,” “What Chilli Wants,” “Single Ladies,” “Disaster Date” and “Basketball Wives.” In 2010, the UAC Mediabase charts named Arika Kane and BSE Recordings the #1 Independent Artist and Label in the country for 20 weeks straight. In late 2011, Kane began recording her second album, "Substance."

Digitally released on April 13, 2012, "Substance" peaked at number seven on digital charts. Several songs from the album were placed on VH1's Single Ladies 2. In June 2012, VH1 selected "Make It," a song from her debut album, as the theme song for "Hollywood Exes." Kane released the "Make It" remix in July 2012. Kane released the single "It's There (featuring Brian McKnight) on March 18, 2014. "It's There" is the first release from Kane's forthcoming album, "Thru the Veil."

Kane is a women's rights advocate. As a songwriter, her music focuses on empowering and inspiring women.
