Mr.Anirudh Krishnan of AK Law Chambers, Chennai is a prominent Advocate in the area of litigation, dispute resolution and arbitration.

He is an Alumnus of Oxford University and National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, Hyderabad. He is the author of 2 Books First one “The Law of Reservation and Anti Discrimination” which he wrote while he was a Student.

2nd one “Law of Arbitration & Conciliation”. He regularly appears before Supreme Court, various High courts, Statutory Tribunals and International Arbitral Tribunals. Anirudh is qualified to Practise Law in India and also qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales.

He has been ranked by many platforms such as Chambers and Partners and Indian Business Law Journal as a leader in his field of practice.

He has delivered guest lectures in many of the national law schools in India and has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences. He was also invited to deliver talks to the international arbitration teams of Clifford Chance LLP and Herbert Smith, LLP, London.

Anirudh has been empanelled as an arbitrator with Nani Palkhiwala Arbitration Centre.

He was appointed as an expert on Indian Law for an ICC arbitration in London.

He was appointed as a Consultant to the Law Commission of India for the Report on Arbitration.  In addition, he was appointed by the Hon’ble Chief Justice as a Member of a Special Committee set up in a Public Interest Litigation to suggest reforms to certain backward regions in the State of Tamil Nadu.

He is also a member of the Governing Council of the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arbitration Centre, the drafting committee for the Mumbai Court of International Arbitration (MCIA), Steering Committees of the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
