Chef Paul Rivera, from a family of farmers, married into a family of farmers by marrying my cousin. He learned the value of preparing food as a way to bring joy to people when they are together. He learned to cook as a young child as a way to help and contribute to his household growing up, but found his passion through hands on experience as an apprentice in the field. Now with all his wisdom, he wishes to give back by extending his mentorship to the community by inspiring and teaching the young aspiring chefs of Hawaii.
