Comedian and podcaster Brandie Posey (Lady to Lady on My Favorite Murders network) has a well-kept industry secret superpower: bookeeping. Growing up with a CPA dad, she learned early on the importance of keeping detailed financial records. After moving to Hollywood, Posey quickly found there was a huge need for bookkeeping services in the self-employed comedy scene and for the last decade has been helping colleagues untangle multiple revenue streams and expenses, making sense of side hustles and launched an official business during the pandemic. in 2023, she founded Burn This Records to aid in the production & distribution of comedy albums written & performed by some of the most original, hilarious voices in modern comedy.
