The new year will be ushered in by passive weather, according to meteorologist Brad Field.  In his latest episode of the Brad Field Weather podcast, Field is predicting a rainy New Year's Eve, but temperatures could hit the 50s.  But as he tells co-host Dan Lovallo, do not be deceived by the above-average temperatures.  Weather models show Connecticut and the region could be facing some true, winter weather come the middle of January.
