When Yeshua said those words, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:19), he wasn't talking about Communion as many Christians believe today. In fact, Yeshua wasn't starting a new thing at all. He took an old, well-known event and its commemoration - the Exodus and the Passover Seder - and giving it its full meaning. Passover is a grand picture that reveals God's plan to bring His children back to Himself. When we understand some of the themes of Passover, we'll appreciate what Yeshua did for us in a whole new way. Communion will never be the same!
