When Jesus died, He died to break the power of sin, but now that Jesus lives, He lives for the glory of God. We should also consider ourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. In other words, if you’re a Christian, dead is who you were in the past. If you’re not a Christian, dead is who you are now.
