<p>The Rev. Artis Smith has served the community of East Salinas for the last 15 years as pastor of New Hope Baptist Church. Dedicated to servanthood and discipleship, the Rev. Artis Smith joined New Hope Baptist Church in 1999 as Associate Minister, installed as pastor in 2005. During that time he has helped lead a regional effort toward social justice.</p>
