PERFECT ALIGNMENT WITH GOD'S WILL

Tuesday 10th January 2022

As we continue to pour out our hearts unto the Master, it is my prayer that we release everything into His hands: good or bad, ugly or beautiful; to come into perfect alignment with the will of the Father.

Luke 11:2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. YOUR WILL BE DONE On earth as it is in heaven.

Luke 22:42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”

Doing the will of the One who created us is the sole reason for our living and there is no better prayer that we can make other than what Jesus taught us.

Our prayer in these times and seasons should be that God brings us into perfect alignment with His will. 

Let us not be like the men who built the tower of Babel: they were full of selfish ambitions that they brought their resources, strength, and expertise together to build something for themselves.

And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4

We do not make a name or build anything for ourselves but we live for God: that is where we find fulfillment and satisfaction. 

Because we were created in His image, we were designed for God, therefore as we yield to the Holy Spirit. In whatever vocation we are in (business, career, marriage, etc), the sole reason should be that Jesus becomes the CEO through us.

John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

All patriots of faith have never seen the Father except Jesus. Jesus is the expression of the Father: He came to reveal the heart of the Father.

We also have the same agenda to reveal the heart of the Father to the world because we are sons (John 1:12).

Then our prayer becomes: "Lord, help me to come into total alignment with your will such that when I speak, it is heaven speaking through me."

John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

John 17:18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

When Jesus went to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to continue with what He had accomplished. It is therefore up to us now to agree with the Father to allow the Holy Spirit to use us to do the will of the One who sent us.

It is only through us that heaven can find manifestation on earth. Let us, therefore, yield to the Holy Spirit, separate ourselves and get rid of anyone or anything that is not helpful and hinders us from doing the will of the Father (1 Corinthians 10:23).

YIELD TO THE WILL OF THE MASTER

Monday 9th January 2022

I want to encourage all of us to continue to yield ourselves to the will of God for there is no telling to what He will do in, through, and with our lives.

All that God needs of us is yieldedness to His Spirit. I pray that every day that passes by, our level of obedience, consecration, and commitment will become deeper and deeper until heaven can fully find expression through our lives.

This is the sole reason for our existence: to do the will of the Master because everything that God does is centered around His will.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

We have been called according to His purpose and His purpose is the driver for every activity. 

For whatever vocation you are in, wherever you are and all that God has given you is to fulfill His purpose in our lives.

Therefore let us continue seeking (praying and fasting) and humbling ourselves; as the Bible says:

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. Psalms 145:18

A CALL TO THE PLACE OF THE FIRST LOVE.

Tuesday 03rd January 2023 - Day 02 of Heartfelt Prayer and Fasting

Many of us become distracted many times in this journey of faith and draw our attention away from what matters to the benefits and blessings we enter into.

As a result, we lose focus from the center of life (Jesus) and the fire that once burned within our souls and we become driven by activities, duty, and a mere sense of responsibility. 

Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have [this] against you, that you have left your first love.

This was a church that was doing well according to standards but it had dropped from the first love (fire, passion) that once drove them along the way and they were now moved by duty.

As we continue to seek the Lord in these twenty-one days, the Lord is calling us to rediscover and get back to the place of our first love with the Master where Jesus was our everything and we were not moved and touched by titles, positions, wealth, etc but Him. 

Luke 19:2-4 Now behold, [there was] a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way.

Zacchaeus was a very wealthy man but when he heard that Jesus was coming, he shut down everything. This means that there was something about Jesus that meant more to him than what he was doing.

Have you arrived at that place in your walk with God where Jesus means more than what you are doing that you can shut everything down just to ensure you can have a glimpse of Him? That is what it means to PRAY and FAST. 

When you are hungry and thirsty, you do not care about titles or what men will say but there is something that drives you and disregards their opinions. That is how Zaccheus was; he positioned himself very well to make sure that Jesus does not bypass him (Luke 19:3-4).

Luke 19:5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house."

I do not know which tree you need to climb in these twenty-one days but there is a position you can occupy in the Spirit to encounter Jesus and you will hear His voice calling your name.

You must position and prepare yourself to be able to encounter Jesus. That is why I encourage you to come out of your office (daily routine)  during these twenty-one days and position yourself as Zaccheus did (Luke 19:9).

Be determined and intentional that Jesus will call your name one of these days and He will come and dine with you and He will never leave your life the same.

DIVINE FAVOR 

Thursday 22rd December 2022

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned and saw under the sun that— The race [is] not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.

There is something about the favor of God that will qualify you when your natural credentials, face value, CV, and natural advantages can not make it for you, it has a way of pulling you out of nowhere placing you up there.

Genesis 37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children because he [was] the son of his old age. Also, he made him a tunic of [many] colors.

This multi-colored jacket speaks of the favor of God that was upon Joseph's life. He was not the most handsome boy, he was a gossiper fond of reporting his brothers but you could not deny the favor of God upon his life and because of that favor, his father loved him. This favor was ordained from eternity so to depict what was upon his life, the father made him a multicolored jacket.

No matter how negative and jealous his brothers were, they could not fight the favor of God upon his life even when they sold him off. You can't fight favor and win, it is impossible! 

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Here is a prophecy in Isaiah 7:24. It was an open prophecy that any virgin was qualified to manifest this prophecy, and here comes Mary.

Luke 1:26-28 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name [was] Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, highly favored [one,] the Lord [is] with you; blessed [are] you among women!"

There were other people probably who were praying and fasting but this lady was busy planning for her wedding and God favored her.

This is the favor that is beyond some of the things we do and it led to the fulfillment of the prophecy that was spoken about in Isaiah chapter 7.

Luke 1:29-30 But when she saw [him,] she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

It is one thing to find favor with man and another thing to find favor with God. Man's favor dries up but God's favor is eternal; the moment God's favor is upon you, no man can resist you.

Men don't raise in this life on the account of mere hard work, there is something that God adds to you that hard work can't do for you. 

No matter how you do all the spiritual protocols in the Bible, there is a favor dimension to life and I pray that your heart taps into it. Mary was a young girl but when Jehovah God favored her, she became the mother of Jesus, Emmanuel, and God Himself. 

What prayer and fasting cannot do for you, the favor will do it for you. As we continue to seek the face of the Master, I pray that the divine favor of God will invade your life and house like never before.

GOD IS STILL LOOKING FOR A MAN

Wenesday  21st December 2022

No man has a monopoly on God but God can monopolize a man. We see throughout the scriptures that when men fully yielded to the God of grace and mercy, He got a hold of them and fully used them to manifest Himself. 

Ezekiel 22:30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.

We must understand that the physical world has been given to man and for any spirit being to express itself, it must find a material being through which it can manifest it's agenda, desire, and will on the earth. 

Even God in His power and sovereignty had to seek for a man to become His body (gate, door, hand, feet, mouth, etc.) through which He would manifest His desire on earth. 

So God limited Himself like this and that's how man comes on the scene. That is why He is always on the lookout for men and women who have fully yielded themselves to Him so that His agenda, will, and purpose can find manifestation on the earth. 

God is not looking for golden vessels; all that He is searching for are men and women who are fully yielded to His will. 

Hebrews 10:7-8 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me—To do Your will, O God.’” 8 Previously saying, “Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the law),

God is still in need of  bodies ( you and me) through which His will can be expressed on earth just like Jesus did 

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Our lives have already been designed by God and our greatest assignment after receiving Jesus is to discover His plan already ordained in our life.

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

God knew you when you were a spirit being; He called and separated you. To Jeremiah, he was ordained to be a prophet, but for each one of us, there is a specific assignment in our lives. 

God's ways and plans are better than yours; He sees the end from the beginning. So whatever He wants to do with and through you is based on His perfect will for your life. 

Matthew 26:39 ...“O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

When you understand God's will for your life, you will pray the prayer Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane. 

1 Samuel 13:14 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”

Can you be that body, man that the Master is looking for?

Remember Christmas is a story of a little girl who said yes to the Holy Spirit, you can also say yes to Him and give birth to what will change your environment.

THE HELP OF GOD

Sunday 18th December 2022- First Service

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another HELPER, that He may abide with you forever—

Every man needs help because man was designed to be helped but the question is; are you engaging the help that has been sent to you?

It is not an issue for God to give you what you are praying for but the biggest challenge is the heart posture.

1 Samuel 10:9 So it was, when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, that God gave him another heart; and all those signs came to pass that day.

1 Samuel 15:26 But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.”

Saul began by God giving him another heart but by the time prophet Samuel was done with him, God had rejected him. What happened?

God can not give you what will destroy you. Saul was rejected because he failed to diligently guard his heart.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

Do not allow bitterness, anger, pride, etc to come into your life because they will destroy you. God already gave you a new heart but it is your responsibility to recognize the ills and cry to Him to help you.

Psalms 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

You must sustain a broken heart to attract the help of God and maintain what God has given you because God can never underlook a broken heart. 

Why does the Bible call David a man after His heart?

Read through the bible, David consulted God before he engaged himself in anything.

A broken heart will always consult God. That is the heart posture that depends on God; that is why we pray and seek God!

John 16:12-13 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Jesus was also at one time helpless; He did not have what it takes to increase the capacity of the disciples to receive what He was saying. 

He, therefore, had to pray to the Father to send the helper (John 14:16).

It takes prayer to receive help from the Helper. That is why our yieldedness to the Holy Spirit is key in our Christian life.

This was the story of Mary. The Bible says;

Luke 1:34-35 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”

And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her..... Luke 1:38 

Mary surrendered to the Holy Spirit and what came out of her was a Savior.

We all have the capacity to give birth to saviors with the help of the Holy Spirit but it will take absolute yieldedness to Him to bring it into manifestation.

THE  BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

Wednesday 14th December 2022

1 Peter 1:19-20 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

The blood of Jesus was shed in eternity meaning that it deals with your past, present, and future. No part of your life is not touched by the blood of Jesus.

Revelation 5:5-6 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals...."

There was nobody to take the seal from the hands of the ancient of days.  Heaven went silent until the blood prevailed. It is the blood of Jesus that will wipe tears as you release your faith in the Master. 

Matthew 27:51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks was split.

The day the blood dropped, the curtain that separated man from the Holy of Holies was torn from top to bottom and God opened the highway into His presence and  promises that were made to us through the blood.

Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike [you.]

The children of Israel were in bondage for over four hundred years, they wept, and cried until God sent Moses and he displayed the power of God through nine miracles but the pharaoh wasn't moved until   blood was invoked.

Hebrews 9:13-14 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The blood (cross) is the game changer. All you have to do is to release your faith. 

The blood of the lamb healed everyone who was sick and they all walked away with gold and silver. There is power in the blood of Jesus; it is the very life of God that was laid for us. 

Hebrews 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than [that of] Abel.

Better things  begin to happen in your life, family, children, etc as you release your faith in the speaking blood of Jesus.

 Is it a sickness?, disease?, pain?, affliction?, etc, the blood of Jesus has overcome and it is you now to exercise your faith by putting it on your lips? You apply the blood with your lips because it speaks.

Zechariah 9:11 Whatever waterless pit you are in now, apply the blood of Jesus and jump out of that pit.

Colossians 2:4 Jesus nailed every legal document that the devil had against us to the cross.

Luke 10:19 The blood of God has given you power where you are elevated above everything. You are no longer a victim but a victor.
