Pastor Gabe's Articles

In 2 Timothy 4:1-2, the Apostle Paul wrote to his protege Timothy, “I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word. Be ready in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, and […]

Some pastor stirred up controversy on social media when he said the following: “You should not tell an unbeliever, ‘God loves you.’ The apostles never shared the gospel this way. The Bible says God’s wrath is upon unbelievers (John 3:36, Romans 1:18). Help them see their sin, warn them of the judgment of God, and […]

We are told in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, “Know this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self… lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Keep away from such men as these.” On Wednesday, President Joe […]

In 1 Timothy 6:13-15, the Apostle Paul said to his protege Timothy, “I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in His testimony befor Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our […]

In Matthew 21, we read about Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, to the shouts of people saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” He then cleansed the temple of the merchants and money changers, turning over their tables and driving out all who bought […]

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago […]

My sermon was on amillennialism, which I posted to my blog last week. You can listen to other messages in this series by going to fbclindale.com. The following […]

The following is a message that I gave at my church, First Baptist Church in Lindale, TX, on Sunday, September 26, 2021. We just finished up a Sunday evening series on eschatology, in which all four end-times views were presented in this order: historic premillennialism, amillennialism, dispensationalism, and postmillennialism. All of the messages can be […]

Proverbs 31:8-9 says, “Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” No doubt you’ve heard about the abortion ban that went into effect in the state of Texas a week ago, making abortion illegal if an […]

Last week on social media, I made the following post: All women who have had abortions are mothers—they’re mothers of the children they have murdered. Repent of your sin before Jesus Christ, and He will have mercy on you. He will forgive you, and He will restore you. Lest you perish before God in judgment. […]
