He challenged the mindset of victimhood and called us back to our God given identity as servants. Shame may try to redefine us, but we were created with purpose, not to be ruled by past pain, but to flourish in God’s design (Genesis 1:26–31).
We were reminded not to honour shame, to stay anchored in God’s will when storms arise, and to respond with stillness instead of reacting in the moment. No trial, setback, or season is wasted in God’s hands. He is working all things for His purpose.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
