On the one-year anniversary of the murder of George Floyd, I sit down with Pastor P.T. Ngwolo. He was a friend and pastor to the late George Floyd. In our discussion, he recalls his interaction and relationship with "Big Floyd" in his Houston Third Ward community.
Patrick 'P.T.' Ngwolo is the lead pastor of Resurrection Houston, a church plant in Houston, Texas. P.T. received his BS in Computer Engineering at the University of Oklahoma in 2001 and a JD in 2005 from the University of Texas School of Law. He is not only an award-winning lawyer but has served his community through social organizations like the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals. He regularly lends commentary on platforms such as the BBC, NPR, and Christianity Today. He is also the host of Kinfolk, a podcast about the four-way intersection of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the community of saints that do life together, the African diaspora, and the coming social justice of God in Christ to our world.
