A walkie-talkie app that enabled the transmission of voice and video communication is at the centre of a #patentinfringement. Sometime in 2020 #voxer filed a #patent infringement suit against #Meta the parent company of #Facebook and its subsidiary #instagram over 5 of their #patents push-to-talk app which was invented to solve battlefield communications problems.

Years after negotiations failed 

Facebook platform launched #facebook live in 2015 and later to the general public, US iPhone users in January 2016 and Instagram live in 2016 using voxers' products and tech to achieve this.
