Members Reviews:
Couldn't put it down!
A heart warming story that provides insight into the struggles faced by persons with disabilities as well as those learning to adapt to a new culture. The author weaves a tale of deception, murder, and love wrapped up in a coming of age tale.
The characters are as deep and three dimensional as the plot. I'm hoping a sequel comes soon!
Social Issues of the Past and Today in a Personal Way
This novel interweaves the story of two neighboring families, each with their own challenges. The setting progresses over a period of many years and we see both the conditions in America that have changed and those that have not. The main characters are primarily women and through their experiences we are reminded about how some attitudes about their place in society has changed in our lifetimes. The book also deals with the relationship of government and corporations, so it holds our interest in both an emotional and intellectual way.
Path of Cowards Opens Eyes

It even manages to interweave an entertaining tale of two families struggle to form meaningful relationships in spite of the fate which awaits.
An engaging, fast-paced story about two families in a thriving Detroit suburb
A great read. The novel points to America's unique brand of corporatism and the importance of true competition in the marketplace.
