Hey, hope you're all having a good weekend! I was meant to record this a bit earlier, but I've finally woken up from the mother of all naps and it's getting dark outside😂 Quite a quick episode today, but I just wanted to talk about the importance of patience, and why it's an important skill that can be developed over time. We aren't born with it, not at all. It takes years of anger, annoyance, and being generally pissed off to develop a modicum of real patience, because we're so often directed towards impatience instead. That's pretty natural. And just because you're in the process developing patience doesn't mean that you're now a monk, and it doesn't mean that you will never be impatient again. You will, probably fairly soon, but maybe, just maybe, a little bit less impatient than you were before, and a little bit more in control of your emotions. Happy listening, everyone ❤
