This Podcast: Patience
"Thank you Sweet Baby Jesus for another BEAUTIFUL day @BowsTexas. Here to coach and consult you being RAW. REAL. UPBEAT & STRAIGHTFORWARD. The goal is to guide you to be an authentic beautiful version of yourself with an organized routine, living well, and sharing resources to study so you can be focused and productive!”
Learning to eat right, budget, survive and learning to love while living well.
Sounds so simple right? For someone in recovery, it requires a lot of energy in the beginning just to get your mind right.
Each day I’d have a list ready to go with purpose and passion to work towards the goal set.
#1 priority, wowzers, it’s work, but with LOVE it’s amazing!
We’ve learned a lot together over the years.
Prayed for wisdom, peace, joy, love, and patience regularly learning to embrace each moment for what it was.
Instead of extravagant dinner time we’d have a game time, softball, or Netflix and chill… life became intentional.
We were present, focused, and productive with goals to reach to live the life we truly wanted.
So instead of sayin’ NO all the time, we’d find ways to make things happen. Our glass became half full instead of half empty.
Think it’s a valuable lesson to teach children that things CAN happen, but sometimes it requires being willing to sacrifice things.
For instance: The next time your child comes to you and says they want something, instead of saying yes or no… ask them.
“How much does this mean to you?” Let them answer and put in the work; take the pressure off yourself.
Our holidays are not about gifts anymore, we have everything we need. It’s about love, laughter, peace, joy, and memories!
Wow that sounds super cheesy but it’s REAL! Stress that we put on ourselves as parents is unnecessary, you know what they need at the end of the day? To know that someone cares, is looking out for them, wants the best for them, making memories, enjoying the little moments, and disciplining them with love and guidance.
Learned not to be a people pleaser but to live with purpose and passion as a patient person.
