ThePatient Manager with Observation Module monitors the flow of observation patients and alerts the care team to outstanding tasks, barriers, status updates and late assessments.

The focus is to ensure that the care team can efficiently complete the work-up and make their disposition decision (convert to inpatient or discharge) within the specified time frame (two midnights, 48 hours, configurable best practice).

The smart alerting highlights which tasks are at risk of not being completed within that timeframe to help care teams prioritize their efforts. In addition, teams can see the latest status by both the provider and case manager and the timing of the last assessment completed.
