Patricia Barker is the latest overseas appointment to the job of Artisitic Director at the Royal New Zealand Ballet company. Before moving into leadership roles she was a dancer for 27 years with roles in many of the great classical ballets and contemporary works, as well as appearing on screen. In recent years Patricia headed both the Detroit based Grand Rapids Ballet Company, and its accompanying school.
