In this episode of our new Checking In Series series, we meet up with Patrick Lejtenyi, Concordia’s Public Affairs Advisor, to listen in on his conversations with Concordia researchers.
This week he sits down with Concordia researcher, and professor of English, Darren Werschler to discuss a new paper, co-authored with Bart Simon and just published in the journal *gamevironments* on how Wershler used Minecraft to teach a class on the history and culture of modernity. This new pedagogical framework presented the researchers with the opportunity to see how the students used the game to achieve their academic goals.
