On Tuesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen discussed massive NFL news regarding Super Bowl Champion quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as he signed a 10-year contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs Monday night! We recognized this extension as the largest deal in the history of professional sports, considering its potential $503 million value over ten seasons. We both agreed that he's deserving of this astronomical money, given what he's been able to accomplish in just two years as a starting quarterback in this league. We also marveled at the fact that Mahomes is the first football player to be paid upwards of $40 million per year. Moving forward, we mentioned a possible return to the Super Bowl over the next few years, so long as the Chiefs are able to keep their other star players under contract.
