The New England Patriots saw their three-game winning streak come to an end Thursday night, falling to the Chicago Bears 30-24 in a back-and-forth battle at Soldier Field. Drake Maye put together a productive performance, throwing for 321 yards and two touchdowns while adding a rushing score. However, a costly end-zone interception and early offensive struggles proved difficult to overcome.

CLNS Media’s Taylor Kyles and SI’s Mike Kadlick joined John Zannis after the game to break it all down. They discuss Drake Maye’s virtually flawless performance, how he was able to get all of his wide receivers involved, and why this was one of the best games of his career. Is Maye officially back to his best now? They also get into how the Patriots were able to overcome their injury issues, which continue to mount as Will Campbell and TreVeyon Henderson were sidelined today. The guys also touch on the defense, who deserve a huge amount of credit for stopping Kirk Cousins, Brock Bowers, and Klint Kubiak’s offense. They also hit on the performances of Efton Chism, Eli Raridon, Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. Lastly, the guys speculate how soon we could see A.J. Brown return to the offense now that he is eligible to come off the injured reserve list. They close by discussing Romeo Doub’s quiet day and looking at Drake Maye’s incredible pass chart.
