Patrocinio "Tia Patron" Villareal Gamboa: The Heroine of Jaro

Born to a family of Illustrados, Tia Patron evaded the suspicion of the Spaniards while she carried out works for the revolutionaries of her region of Visayas. She was instrumental in the inauguration of the Revolutionary Government of Visayas by transporting the Philippine flag from one town to another without being detected by the Spanish guards by using her cleverness and courage.
