The world was forever changed in 1938 with the arrival of the world's first superhero. Since then, there has been several generations of heroes, each one greater than the last, shaping history and the very notion of what superheroing is. Nowadays most heroes are far too busy dealing with cosmic threats, leaving their cities under the protection of smaller heroes, sidekicks, and underfunded programs. Patrons is a collection of stories following a multigenerational superhero community, and how they see and influence the world.
