R.& (pronounced “are-dot-ampersand” or “are-and”) is a DJ and promoter based out of Texas and New Mexico. R.& began to DJ during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and self-taught appropriate mixing techniques. Over time, R.& met renowned local DJs in El Paso and they further taught him how to mix. As a result, he quickly became a frequent DJ for local shows to eventually becoming direct support for the likes of Fur Coat and Anthony Linell a/k/a Abdulla Rashim at club Function. in El Paso.

R.&'s musical taste was heavily influenced by the underground sounds of the Borderplex where he was raised. R.& nowadays heavily focuses his track selection on the mind-bending sounds of hypnotic techno.
