A big thank you to all of the hard work put in by the Staff and Volunteers at DISTRIKT. It's a wonderful thing to watch an idea become reality through months of hard work, sweat, inspiration, elbow grease, jameson picklebacks, booty shorts, saws-alls, careful planning, sledgehammers, air horns, stencils, semi trailers, emails, fundraisers, volunteers, power drills, beer...lots and lots of beer, and of course music, love and you.

Simply put, you are what makes DISTRIKT one of the most glorious places on the planet. To everyone who attended (and will attend again!), and especially to those that have heard the 128bpm call to help, you have my admiration, love, and thanks.

So as you listen to my set, put yourself on the playa. feel the alkaline dust, the sun and wind on your face. maybe a tasty cocktail from our bar...then turn up the bass and dance like you did not so long ago. I'm with you there, my friends...and I'll see you again soon,
