Following on from China’s decision last week to refuse entry to WA Liberal MP Andrew Hastie, Paul Keating has attacked Australia’s intelligence agencies, a “do-gooder” media and the Morrison government for a “remarkably degenerated” debate on China where the “whispered word communism of old is now being replaced by the word China”.
