All of us have a past. There are things that we have done that we believe disqualify us from being forgiven and set free to serve God with passion. In this sense, Paul is the ultimate underdog. He is a conspirator, a murderer, and a fraud. Yet, God intersects his life. Could God have chosen anyone more unlikely to be his ambassador to the nations? It’s hard to imagine.
