As Paul sees the end of his life approaching, he makes his final preparations and gives his final encouragements to his son in the faith and partner in the gospel - Timothy.   His confidence, hope and joy are inspiring in their own regard, and especially so when considering that he wrote these words and held this hope even from his dungeon jail cell!  We can take his words and be encouraged to praise God, in any and every situation!
