Two officers were shot in Compton, California. Multiple shots were fired into their sitting vehicle and both were left requiring surgery to save their lives after being shot. The suspect is still at large and the LA County Sheriff is offering a reward for leads. 

There were two distinct responses seen to the incident. The first and quickest response was that of President Trump. He called the shooter an animal, which got him a lot of response. This was not a situation of racism, bigotry or anything of the sort. Trump was displaying leadership. Strong leadership at that. 

The second response was that of the left. They immediately began mocking police officers by trying to block the hospital saying that they deserved to die. They started making fun of #BlueLivesMatter on Twitter, saying that the only blue lives that matter were that of cartoons, whales, or anything essentially outside of law enforcement. 

Joe Biden also responded. The initial response, while delayed, seemed to be okay. After that, he went off the rails calling for gun bans, bans of high capacity magazines, saying that weapons of war have no place on the streets of America. Except, none of those things would have stopped this shooting. He was attempting to capitalize on the event. 

Things are only going to get worse across the country. One official said that Trump supporters should arm themselves on Monday and prepare for how bad it is going to get. The reality is that conservatives better be praying and paying attention, because their lives depend on it.
