According to the National Adoption Coalition of South Africa (NACSA), over 3 000 children have been either abandoned or orphaned each year. Our next guest started her organisation with her husband as a place where babies and toddlers could be nurtured and feel loved. The safe haven also facilitates adoption of children into their care. A decade later, the safe haven has helped over 800 babies.
