The minimum wage increase to $17.70 an hour came into effect yesterday. It’s the biggest increase to the minimum wage and many low-income workers will be happy. But is it enough? New Zealand Council of Trade Unions Komiti Pasifika co-convener Caroline Mareko joins us for more.
