Jay Scholes, Founder of the Outtech Sales Organization. He has spent over 43 years working direct with manufacturers, selling archery equipment and helping to grow archery and bowhunting across the globe. Jay is one of the few in the archery industry that has the broad wealth of archery experience, or who has witnessed more change across all archery categories. He has had decades of boots on the ground both at shoots, in shops and at the factories. In this podcast, we take a trip down memory lane talking products, people and places. We have recently finished filming a series for hunter’s education graduates that take advantage of some access to bettering their progression as new hunter. We also talk through some important things that all of us should put into practice. Nate is a great guy and has such a positive and holistic view on the outdoors. Quinn is an inspiring digital creator with an eye to details and a passion to capture great educational content.

Although these 3 fellas are experts beind the lens and in the studio I try to get them to simplify the most important things for all of us doing our own video and photos for our hunts or social media. We get into a lot of subjects including self filming, gear essentials, better content creation and better approaches to editing.

In this podcast I sit down with an Iowa farmer who I recently visited while looking for new spots to hunt with LandTrust. After driving around with him and listening to his story I wanted to do a podcast from a landowners perspective who is offering daily hunts through Land Trust which is like the “AirBnb” for hunting/recreation land. I get asked often about “how and where“ I hunt and LandTrust has opened the door for DIY private land hunting opportunities. This is an amazing new tool that new hunters and veteran hunters can use to find new spots in new areas.

In this podcast I sit down and discuss the new T2 head that I know is about to make serious waves in the bowhunting industry. This is a wicked new mechanical that has shown me some insane results. We dive into the what’s, the why’s and the where’s to this new broadhead that proves consistency is found in simplicity!
