Kord grew up on Long Island, NY and played competitive ice hockey which provided him a Division I scholarship. At Hofstra University, Kord studied philosophy, got a masters in physical education, became a personal trainer and got certified as an applied behavior analysis.  Kord‘s passion is to help others so they don’t make lifestyle mistakes like his parents.
