Two Attitudes

A. Fleshly that regards others as a threat.

B. Spiritual attitude that believes I should be a servant to others.

1. The old nature knows no law.

2. The new nature needs no law Legalism, License or Love

A. Legalism means you live under the Law - the Law is your master.

B. License is throwing off all restraint.

1. Freedom turned upward means God is glorified.

2. Freedom turned outward means I can serve you.

3. Freedom turned inward, becomes license. The Law of Love Unless there is love, there will not be true service. We are to serve in love because we delight in doing it, not because we have to do it. Do you just want a religion that is surface only? Or do you want a relationship to the living Lord that is deep and abiding?
