Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) disproportionately affects black women causing acne, male pattern baldness and excess hair growth. PCOS can also be linked to cardiovasular disease one of the leading causes of female mortality in the United States. We want to bring awareness to PCOS so women are diagnosed sooner than later. If you or someone you know is living with this disorder (which has a spectrum of symptoms) or has symptoms please get tested by your physician.
