If there is one gap in our knowledge here at Pdexposures, it's large format. None of us have used anything bigger than 120 enough to sit and talk about it without sounding like an idiot, so we had to enlist someone with much more experience that all of us combined, and who else could we turn to other than Shawn Hoke?

For those of you who don't know Shawn… well, to be honest, shame on you. He's a fantastic medium and large format photographer who takes some truly stunning photos. His large format shots of New York at night easily surpass almost every example of that cliché you've ever seen - so much so, in fact, that they actually escape the cliché.
