The foundations of defense and tactics
- 10% of tactics is shooting - 60% of tactics is moving - 30% of tactics is communicating

- Shooting - Cool Shit!
- Fundamentals of shooting - reloading, manipulation (including malfunctions), hitting
- These should all be subconscious
- Incorporating Shooting into Moving and Communicating

- Moving - Individual Movement Techniques
- Forward, Backward, Getting Up & Down with Firearm, Moving around objects to minimize target, Entering & Exiting Vehicles
- Stealth vs Dynamic - Slower is almost always better even in a dynamic situation
- Team Movement Techniques - Room & Building entry and clearing, Formations, Triangulation, Avoiding Flagging, Situational Awareness, Flanking

- Communicate
- Movement communication - Left, Right, Flanking, Ready (Squeeze),
- Shooting communication - Reloading, malfunction, clear, cease fire, hostile/non-hostile, covering and going hands on
- Radio comms vs verbal - VOX vs PTT
- Minimizing the need for verbal or hand communication through TTPs and rehearsed tactics

- Don’t forget tactical medical training

- Shooting Skills are great, but if you want to communicate that into a tactical capability, you must master and incorporate the tactics of moving and communicating

- Don't forget to integrate your dog into this training as well
