“The mountains may disappear, and the hills may come to an end, but my love will never disappear; my promise of peace will not come to an end,” says the LORD who shows mercy to you.” Isaiah 54:10
How Do I Enjoy God’s Promises of Peace?
# 1: I must make peace with God

"God made peace through the blood of Christ's death on the cross.”

"And I gave them my Sabbath days of rest as a sign between them and me. It was to remind them that I am the Lord who has set them apart to be holy." Ezekiel 20:12 NLT
“It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know He enjoys giving rest to those He loves?” Psalm 127:2 msg
"A heart at peace gives life to the body." Proverbs 14:30a
#3: I must receive peace as a gift
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
“He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!”
Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.” Mark 4:39
“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Mark 4:40b
#4: I must practice telling God what I need
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 ESV
"Now, may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way."
2 Thessalonians 3:16
#5: I must keep my eyes on Jesus
"You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you." Isaiah 26:3
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above…
Colossians 3:1-2
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…” Colossians 3:15a
"And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as an umpire continually) in your hearts." Colossians 3:15a AMP
