The word love shows up in the Bible 550 times. The word shalom (peace in English) shows up 551 times. That is to say it as important and ubiquitous as love, and yet it is an often ignored and unfamiliar part of Christianity.

As we start Advent, we start with shalom to understand who Christ is and what he came to do.
