Today, my guest is Sahar from Palestine. She shares her journey of growing up in the Holy Land and experiencing constant turmoil and conflict. After some traumatic experiences in her youth she was consumed by darkness and hate and felt God must not care about her or her people. He must be a silent God. But after coming to university in the United States, she found the peace her heart was longing for. She was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but after returning home to Palestine, her faith was truly tested.
