Psalm 4:1-8.

Psalm 4 is an urgent prayer born out of a situation of major distress in David's life. It's a prayer that asks the question—“How do God’s people dwell in distress? When circumstances go south, how should we react? When a situation turns sour, what can we do?” We learn that in times of distress God's people can safely dwell in peace.
