Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in John 16:33, where Jesus says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart. I have overcome the world.” This is such a powerful reminder that peace is not found in a perfect life. Peace is found in Jesus.

So many people are searching for peace in the wrong places. They look for it in a pill, in a bottle, in another relationship, or in the hope that someday life will finally calm down. But Jesus makes it clear that real peace is found in Him. He does not promise a trouble-free life. He promises that in the middle of trouble, we can still have peace because He has already overcome the world.

This episode is a reminder that your testimony often comes through how you handle the trial. When people see you go through hard things with faith, peace, and good cheer, it speaks louder than words. It shows your family, your friends, and the people around you that God is real, that He is with you, and that He is still working even in the middle of the storm.

You do not need more power. You need to realize the power you already have in Christ. God is with you. You can overcome. You can walk in peace. And you can face today knowing that Jesus has already won.
