Throughout the month of February, our sermons will focus on passages found within the Sermon on the Mount and what they say to us in living out our faith in difficult moments. This series of teaching, from Matthew 5-7, is where Jesus announced what was expected of those who sought to follow him.

The series begins with Matthew 5:9, which states "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." (NRSV) In the sermon, Rev. Shannon Blosser talks about how we are called to practice God's idea of peace in polarized times.
