In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus lists characteristics of what a person will look like when they follow Him. These are called the Beatitudes, and they help followers of Jesus be salt and light to the world. In this sermon, we will be examining verses 9 and 10, how they are interconnected, what they mean, and how one finds blessing in being a peacemaker, and how one is blessed in being persecuted.
