I'm back!
Today's episode is reviving Peachy Keen, after four years of dormancy. Who would have thought? Josh, our guest today, is my fiancé and an upcoming podcaster as well, so today we talked about our dreams and aspirations for our podcasts. Trying to get comfortable back on the podcasting saddle again, and giving him a taste of what it will be like, recording on mic.
crazy to be posting after three years of no content, but all in the name of extra credit, right?
in this extra credit project, I decided to do three blog posts and a final podcast on communication. I discussed three books I found most helpful and influential being in my college years.
Welcome to my english midterm essay :D please enjoy this explorative essay-style podcast, where I analyze three different works from class paired with three research pieces in attempt to pass my first semester of my 12 AP english class HAHA - Julianne
Hello friends :) it's been a while since I hopped on and had a chat, but I think this topic is one of them where I simply can't filter too much and will be 100 percent genuine. Recently, just about 30 minutes outside of my hometown, there was a shooting at Oxford High School in Oxford, Michigan. It has now been about two weeks later, and this will be my sit-down version of how I processed all the happenings these past two weeks. I'll go over my own reactions, my school district and teachers' ways of getting us to both cope and move along, and how everyone has been processing overall. Hopefully this is helpful to some, and I truly mean for this to be a productive conversation - not just something to be brushed over. I'm completely open to hearing any feedback/anecdotes as well, my dms are always open :) hope you enjoy this podcast as much as you could. stay peachy.
TW: mention of abuse.
Mini book review!! Honestly, this was really fun and the book was such a good read, but it really does get you thinking about the kind of relationships you may have with others, both on a physical and emotional level. Where the Crawdads Sing was probably one of the better written newer novels I've been able to read, and it was a good thing I actually enjoyed it considering I had to write a whole essay on it as well. Hopefully this podcast is also nice for my outside-of-APs listeners. enjoy :)
Shorter podcast episode, just an outlet of feelings about school and the lack of ideas for podcasting lately. Nothing wrong with not having any ideas, but it's also good to talk it out sometimes :) come and sit with me, hope you guys enjoy this little rambling sesh !!
Starting senior year has been strange to say the least - I really did not miss getting pushed and shoved in the hallways. Nonetheless, it is really amazing being back in-seat and in school again, and I think the best way to share this experience is letting you in on how it's gone these past few weeks and where my life has been going lately. This includes sharing my senior bucket list, which has a giant mix of things I hope to do before going off to college and even before the 2021 year ends. Hope you all enjoy this episode, and who knows - maybe one of these list tidbits, you'll be able to help me out with :) -julianne
[TW: self harm]
Another trigger warning - we get very emotional and discuss a lot of portions of our lives including heartbreak, our views on each other, and unshared feelings. Hope you guys enjoy this candid (as possible, i did edit LOL) episode of us playing we're not really strangers.
Big recap on random bits and pieces of life which I'm not entirely sure on what I've covered and what I haven't. But nonetheless - this was a spill of many thoughts that have been circling my head, as well as some completely stupid late night thoughts that pop up when there's nothing else to do but think and fall asleep. Hope you guys enjoy this stream of consciousness :) -julianne
