Pearla - the musical project of Brooklyn songwriter Nicole Rodriguez - is an amorphous sort of endeavor, with sounds drawing on folk, americana, and pop, all with a hazy cloud around it, and Rodriguez’s powerful vocals floating in and around the melodies. Here, she joins us solo at Serious Business Music, accompanied simply by an Omnichord, for this intimate performance.
